From Breastfeeding to Book Publishing
Wolf Pup Creative was created out of a place of creativity and inspiration. The designer and author, Elle McCann, got inspiration for two illustration baking books around 3am feeding her newborn baby. It was a mash-up of multiple interests like the love of baking and reading... neither of which she could do much of because of the little baby.
Reading so many great children's books to her new baby, Elle started building out her own mini children's library and was inspired to create her own book to add to the collection.
Inspired by her love of baking, and maybe even hunger at 3am, Elle created two baking related books first with colorful illustrations.
The Process of Launching
It took 8 months total to go from beginning idea, hiring the illustrator, designing the books and launching the store. It was totally a passion project at first but as things started getting completed and launched she knew she wanted to share it more with the world.
Go Behind the Scenes
Elle shows the process behind-the-scenes of creating the books and her store on her other business's YouTube channel.
The goal is to show other mom's how you can follow your inspiration and dreams and create your own business.
